Description
Based in Des Moines, Iowa USA, our fleet maintenance and repair facility is a 24/7 operation. Our team performs COMPLETE maintenance services for our fleet of over 200 trucks (90% diesel) and over 200 refrigerated trailers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWED:

Extensive knowledge of diesel motors and all systems (powertrain, electrical, suspension, exhaust, body work, tires, etc.) o be able to properly diagnose and repair and assist our fleet drivers.

Strong HVAC knowledge- must have CFC certification.

Team members are required to have (or acquire within 45 days) a Class A CDL and legally maintain.

Knowledge of DOT regulations- keep our trucks and trailers safe on the road.

Must have formal training, certifications and experience.

Must possess your own basic hand tools. Many specialized tools available for use in the shop.

Computer skills and the ability to accurately perform paperwork and relevant documentation regarding repairs.

Must be able to successfully pass all post-offer, pre-employment testing which includes the following: DOT Clearinghouse, Background Check, Pre-Employment Drug Tests, Pre-Employment Medical Exam (must be able to maintain DOT medical card) and Physical Capacity Testing.

Must be a team player and conduct themselves in a professional manner that is consistent with all AE Dairy company policies.

Must successfully complete sixty (60) day probationary period (based upon attendance, performance, adherence to company policy and needs of business).
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$35.50 Per Hour- Paid Weekly.

$0.75 Cents Per Hour Shift Differential for Hours Worked Between 6 PM- 6 AM.

Wellmark BC/BS Medical Insurance w RX Plan (*commencing after 30 days of employment on 1st of month)- Single $15.00 per week and Family $25.00 per week
