Job Duties

Start Date: 10/01/2026

End Date: 12/14/2026

Work hours: 48 hours/week, Monday - Saturday, 8 hours/day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Duties: Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Clean work areas and maintain grounds on the farm.

Farming with: Corn, Soybeans, Sugar Beets. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required

Minimum Education Required

None. No High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience Required

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required.

Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks.

Workers must be able to speak English.

Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire, as certain roles may require a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.

Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures.

Extensive pushing and pulling is required.

Extensive sitting is required.

Extensive walking is required.

Frequent stooping is required.

Repetitive movements are required.

Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Additional Compensation

Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employer's discretion.

As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

Job Benefits

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 04/07/2026). Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.

Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
