Full job description

ABOUT

We're building the AI-native ERP that will define private markets infrastructure. This isn't an AI wrapper slapped onto legacy software - we built a proprietary general ledger accounting system from the ground up, designed specifically for complex investment firms. As the system of record, we've earned the trust to bundle fund administration with tools that were previously fragmented: investor portals, AI-powered portfolio management, KPI collection, and more.

In under a year, we've scaled to over $7 billion in assets under administration, serving investment firms and LPs that include top-5 banks and major endowments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Until now, Hanover Park's product roadmap was defined by weekly product sprints and lived mostly in our CEO's head.

This will not scale as we've gone from $1 billion to over $7 billion in assets on the platform in only 4 months.

You will be our first product lead on a mission to translate customer feedback into code and obsessively focus on delighting current and future Hanover Park customers across venture capital, private equity and private credit.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the roadmap for Hanover Park products alongside the CEO

  • Drive high-velocity execution with a world-class team of engineers balancing intuition with data-driven decisions

  • Marry customer insights with technical possibilities, crafting intuitive user experiences that abstract away complexity

  • Prototype rapidly using tools like Bolt, v0 and Cursor to accelerate the product development lifecycle and fast-forward to production-ready products

WHAT YOU NEED

  • BA/BS in a technical or analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or related)

  • Minimum 2 years of product management or adjacent product-building experience

  • Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects, and staying current on research and tools

  • Fluency with core LLM concepts and systems, such as prompting, fine-tuning, embeddings, retrieval, and evaluation, and the judgment to translate these into reliable, user-facing products.

  • Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g. Cursor, Bolt, Claude Code) and comfort with design/collaboration environments like Figma

  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences, synthesizing complex systems into compelling narratives.
