What We Need

We are looking for an AI Product Owner to lead the product vision and roadmap for our agentic AI initiatives across leading cloud platforms (GCP or AWS). This person will be the liason between customer needs, business strategy, and engineering delivery — translating what customers need from AI agents into a compelling product roadmap that the engineering team can execute with confidence.

You'll own the product direction of how we build, position, and scale AI agent solutions. This means understanding what our stakeholders are trying to accomplish with AI, what the market is demanding, what the technology can enable, and what our competition is doing — then synthesizing all of that into a clear, prioritized roadmap that balances innovation with outcomes.

Your Day to Day

  • Customer discovery and insights — Conduct user interviews, gather feedback from pilots and production deployments, run advisory boards with key customers to understand pain points, use cases, and desired agent capabilities

  • Define product strategy — Establish the vision and strategy for agentic AI products across cloud platforms; make intentional trade-offs between breadth (supporting multiple platforms) and depth (best-in-class on one)

  • Build and own the roadmap — Prioritize features, platforms, and integrations; balance customer requests, technical feasibility, competitive positioning, and business impact; communicate the roadmap clearly to stakeholders

  • Define success metrics — Establish KPIs for agentic AI products; track agent adoption, task completion rates, cost efficiency, customer satisfaction, and time-to-value

  • Write clear requirements — Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and specification documents that help the engineering team understand not just what to build, but why and for whom

  • Drive platform evaluation — Assess agentic AI offerings across GCP/AWS Agentic ecosystem and make build-vs-buy-vs-partner recommendations

  • Manage customer expectations — Set realistic timelines for agentic implementations; communicate technical constraints, trade-offs, and timelines in business terms

  • Competitive and market intelligence — Stay on top of competitor moves, emerging agent frameworks, cloud platform updates, and industry trends; bring insights back to inform product decisions

  • Document and communicate — Create clear product specs, roadmap communications, and business cases; present product strategy to leadership and customers

We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in product management, with at least 2+ years focused on AI/ML, data, or developer-facing products

  • Deep understanding of agentic AI — familiarity with agent design patterns (ReAct, Plan-and-Execute, reflection), tool use, multi-agent orchestration, and real-world agent implementation challenges

  • LLM and AI fundamentals — understanding of foundation models, prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, embeddings, evaluation metrics (BLEU, ROUGE, task success rate), and responsible AI considerations

  • Strong customer empathy — track record of uncovering customer needs through research, building products customers love, and driving adoption

  • Strategic thinking — ability to connect dots between market trends, customer needs, and technical capabilities; comfort making strategic trade-offs with incomplete information

  • Data-driven mindset — define and track metrics that matter; make decisions based on evidence, not hunches

  • Communication excellence — ability to write clear specs, present to executives, and align diverse stakeholders around a common vision

Preferred:

  • Experience shipping AI/ML products to production

  • Experience with APIs, developer tools, or platform products

  • Knowledge of contact center AI, conversational AI, or chatbot platforms

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or similar product methodologies

  • Technical fluency — comfortable interpreting architectural diagrams; can have meaningful conversations with engineers about feasibility and trade-offs (don't need to code yourself)

What You Bring

  • Customer obsession — You're driven by deeply understanding what customers are trying to achieve and translating that into product direction

  • Technology bridge — You're technical enough to have credible conversations with engineers, but business-savvy enough to speak the language of executives and customers

  • Execution discipline — You get things shipped; you don't let perfect be the enemy of good; you know how to move fast while maintaining rigor

  • Bias toward clarity — You write specs that are easy to understand; you communicate complex technical concepts in accessible terms

  • Collaborative leadership — You lead through influence, not authority; you bring people along on the vision rather than dictating direction

  • Comfort with ambiguity — You thrive in fast-moving spaces where the competitive and technical landscape is shifting monthly

What You'll Gain

A role shaping the future of AI products:

  • Own the product vision for agentic AI — one of the most transformative technologies emerging in enterprise software — at a time when the space is still being defined

  • Direct customer impact — see your product decisions directly result in customers solving real problems with AI agents; strong feedback loops and visible wins

  • Shape company direction — your roadmap recommendations will influence business strategy, resource allocation, and technical strategy for years to come
