Piedmont Healthcare is hiring a Nuclear Med Tech - CV Outpatient, PRN. Piedmont Healthcare seeks a Nuclear Med Tech for the CV Outpatient Imaging department at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, working day shifts on a PRN basis with a requirement to cover six shifts per month.

Key focus areas include Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all protocols, policies and procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs, Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines, and Demonstrates ability to perform advance imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.

Successful candidates bring Graduate Of Nuclear Medicine Program Accredited By JRCNMT Or NMTCB, Two Years Of Experience As A Nuclear Med Tech, and CNMT Registered. Important skills include Perform Diagnostic And Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine Procedures, Perform Quality Control Procedures, Perform Advance Imaging, Cardiac Imaging, Vascular Imaging, and Cross-Sectional Anatomy.

Shift: Days

Status: PRN (Must be able to work 6 shifts per month)

Responsibilities Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology proceduresaccording to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs.Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federalguidelines. Demonstrates ability to perform advance imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and iscompetent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complextechnical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must have two years of experience as a Nuclear Med Tech.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Either CNMT or NMTCB registered.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

BLS Certified
Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.
