Description

Responsible for the observation of cardiac / hemodynamic monitors and patient activity on a video monitors if applicable. Reports any unusual activity to nurse or charge nurse. Documents according to unit policy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course or monitor technician course. Or equivalent educ/experience

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year Acute care monitor technician experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
