Job Duties

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Power Platform Engineer III - Hybrid for a 12+ month contract position with a Leading Consumer Electronics Retailer located in Richfield, MN.

Compensation: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

This role is part of the Productivity Tools team, responsible for the engineering, governance, and support of enterprise productivity capabilities within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be a trusted technical contributor focusing on Power Platform engineering, enterprise governance, solution architecture, and automation, delivering secure and scalable solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement enterprise business solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and related Microsoft 365 services

Design, build, enhance, and support Canvas and Model-Driven applications

Develop and maintain complex cloud flows and business process automations

Design Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, business rules, and solution components

Define and implement enterprise standards for Power Platform governance, including environment strategy, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, and connector governance

Establish and improve Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices using solutions, environment variables, and deployment pipelines

Design, administer, and support SharePoint Online solutions, including site and information architecture

Build integrations and administrative automation using Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and PowerShell

Partner with security, privacy, and compliance teams to apply least-privilege access and data protection

Serve as a technical escalation resource for Power Platform and SharePoint Online issues

Improve operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, and creating durable operational processes

Contribute to engineering standards, participate in design reviews, and mentor peers

Work with stakeholders to evaluate opportunities, clarify requirements, and deliver business outcomes

Primary Requirements:

5+ years of experience engineering Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or SharePoint Online

3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting production Power Apps and Power Automate solutions

Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Power Platform governance (environment strategy, DLP policies, security, lifecycle management)

Advanced experience integrating and automating Microsoft 365 services using Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and PowerShell

Proven ability to contribute to complex technical initiatives, troubleshoot cross-platform issues, and partner with business stakeholders

Strong SharePoint Online engineering background, including modern site architecture, permissions, and governance

Strong understanding of Dataverse architecture, role-based security, and data integration patterns

Experience with Power Platform application lifecycle management (solutions, environment variables, deployment pipelines)

Experience applying enterprise security, privacy, and compliance principles to technical solutions

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with ITSM practices such as incident, change, and problem management

Desired Skills:

Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Power Platform Developer Associate, or related Microsoft certification

Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or other AI-enabled business solutions

Experience operating a Power Platform Center of Excellence

Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, and secure API integration patterns

Experience implementing CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub

Experience supporting a large, highly regulated enterprise

Experience modernizing legacy SharePoint, InfoPath, or SharePoint Designer workflow solutions

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
