Compile damages documentation by calculating medical costs, gathering wage loss support, and tracking property-related losses.
-
Prepare persuasive settlement demand packages and related correspondence for insurance carriers and adjusters.

Support litigation activities by drafting case documents such as pleadings, written discovery, subpoenas, and deposition summaries.
-
Coordinate the identification and resolution of medical and governmental liens, including efforts to reduce lien amounts during settlement.
-
Handle court filing tasks through Colorado e-filing systems and assist with applicable federal filings when needed.
-
Maintain accurate case data and deadlines within legal case management platforms, while tracking limitation periods, court dates, and discovery schedules.
-
Communicate professionally with clients, healthcare providers, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives, and assist attorneys with deposition and trial preparation.
Requirements
-
At least 3-5+ years of experience working as a Personal Injury Paralegal in a plaintiffs' firm, including exposure to pre-litigation and litigation matters.
-
Proven ability to retrieve medical records and create organized medical summaries or chronologies for injury cases.
-
Working knowledge of Colorado civil procedure and evidentiary rules relevant to personal injury litigation.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and legal case management systems such as FileVine, Clio, Neos, AI tools and/or Litify.
-
Strong understanding of insurance claims handling, including motor vehicle, homeowners, and general liability matters.
-
Excellent drafting and written communication skills for demands, legal correspondence, and case-related documentation.
-
Demonstrated ability to manage a large caseload independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
