Full job description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and own Anaira.ai 's fraud strategy, building frameworks that combine AI models, rules engines, and behavioural intelligence.
  • Bring a cross-industry perspective, leveraging learnings from payments, e-commerce, ride-hailing, and fintech to strengthen insurance fraud detection.
  • Architect the data ecosystem: identify internal and external data sources that power real-time fraud intelligence.
  • Translate insights into impact: operationalise models and dashboards that drive measurable fraud reduction outcomes.
  • Build and lead the team of mentor analysts and data scientists, establish processes, and scale the function.
  • Collaborate with leadership and clients to influence product direction, partner with insurers, and deliver data-backed risk intelligence.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in fraud analytics/risk intelligence/data science, with 3+ years in strategic or leadership roles.
  • Strong experience in designing and operationalising fraud frameworks in insurance, fintech, payments, or e-commerce.
  • Deep understanding of fraud typologies, anomaly detection, and network-based models.
  • Hands-on familiarity with SQL, Python, and visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Strategic thinker + doer able to move from framework design to model implementation seamlessly.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to work across CXO, product, and engineering functions.
