  • JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

  • Job Summary :

  • Responsible for providing support services to assist therapists in direct patient care in acute care, sub-acute and/or outpatient settings. Responsible for transporting and /or escorting patients in the clinic areas, maintaining equipment and treatment areas, ordering of supplies and other job duties as assigned. Has basic computer skills and basic knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED education.

  • Registration/Certification/Licensure :

  • None

  • Experience :

  • Must demonstrate competence to provide support rehabilitation services by reason of education, training and experience.

  • Other Requirements :

  • Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

  • Good interpersonal skills are essential, especially courtesy and cooperation, when interacting with other staff members and patients/families/caregivers. Must demonstrate ability to handle confidential data discretely and adhere to HIPAA compliance regulations.
