The pay range per hour is $20.82 - $37.45 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. A role in Buying means working with several diverse vendors to choose the best product mix, both in-store and online. We help determine where to localize, while calibrating market positioning and acting as brand managers. Here, you’ll own a wide SKU count so that your work is varied and challenging. Through cross-functional collaboration, instinct and creativity, you will be the expert on the guest, the market and the competition.

As a Sr Merchandise Specialist supporting your categories for in-store and online channels, you'll provide key executional support to both our merchandise buying and planning teams. You will be integral to new vendor setup and to maintaining item and vendor data across many SKUs. You will proactively communicate on behalf of the department in meetings and via email, acting as the liaison for Import Operations, Transportation, Store Ops and vendors. You will also help coordinate samples and solve problems with our supply chain partners to ensure successful product flow through our network.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will be performed both onsite at the assigned Target HQ MN location and virtually, depending on the needs of the role, team, and tasks for that day. Current in-office expectations are Monday through Thursday, subject to change based on business needs.
