Job Description

My client, a federally focused research and consulting firm, is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support their federal customer in Indian Head, Maryland. This work is supporting a 5 year federal award for complete facility renovations in a complex, lab and industrial environment. Their day to day responsibilities will include technical reviews of design packages, preparing technical reports to summarize preventative maintenance status reports, and creation of long-term upgrade budgetary projections. This role is offering a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $180,000/year annually.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

8+ years experience in Mechanical Design - specifically supporting Federal Industrial Projects
HVAC System Design
AutoCAD design/drafting experience

-Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance. - Professional Engineer (PE) license

Federal Experience in designing buildings with specific requirements (temperature, humidity, etc.)
