Order Picker/Stock Picker Operator - 1st Shift
In this role, the order picker retrieves product from the warehouse aisles, verifies the order quantity and item to accurately fulfill customers’ orders. An order picker (SP) operates a Stock Picker while meeting the company standards of safety, security, and productivity.
Essential Functions:

Able to work 1st shift hours from 6:30AM - 3:00PM with opportunity for overtime.

Efficiently picking orders, while using a Stock Picker (Powered Industrial Truck), and assembling product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and product ordered is packed and shipped free of damage.

Accurately and safely move, pick and pack orders using voice pick and/or radio frequency equipment.

Operates Jungheinrich material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner following the prescribed work methods.

Completing equipment inspections daily and documenting findings on the touch screen located on equipment.

Maintaining the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion ensuring that product can be efficiently picked.

Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
High school education or GED
-
Or 1+ years of relevant work experience in a warehouse setting in lieu of
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
-
Ability to read and effectively communicate in English, count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly
-
Must display a high level of accuracy, initiative and dependability with a good attendance record
-
Ability to follow directions
-
Ability to pass OSHA approved Jungheinrich material handling equipment certification
-
Ability to safely operate the following powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment, specifically a Stock Picker
-
Ability to work at heights
-
Ability to tolerate exposure to modest amounts of heat, cold, dust, noise, and vibrations.
-
Ability to maintain a high level of frequency and intensity in other physical activities including, but not limited to reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, stooping, kneeling and crouching
-
Must have good visual acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
-
Must have no adverse hearing loss that cannot be corrected with hearing aids.
-
Ability to lift 30 lbs consistently up to 50 lbs occasionally
Preferred:
- Familiarity with voice picking and/or radio frequency equipment is beneficial
