REMOTE ELM Project Manager (part-time)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a mid-level Project Manager to lead Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) technology implementation projects for corporate legal departments. This person will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget while serving as the primary liaison between clients, implementation partners, and internal consulting teams. The role combines traditional project management responsibilities with legal technology consulting, requiring strong stakeholder management, project planning, risk management, and client-facing communication skills. Candidates with experience implementing ELM platforms such as Onit, TeamConnect, or Passport are highly preferred, though strong software implementation PMs with legal technology exposure will also be considered

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5+ years of project management experience within software implementations- ELM Experience Prefereably Onit

• Experience working directly with legal teams or legal operations groups

• Experience implementing legal technology solutions

• Strong client-facing stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables

• Experience coordinating multiple workstreams and resources simultaneously

• Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms

• Comfortable managing implementation projects involving requirements gathering, testing, training, deployment, and go-live activities Ability to operate in a consulting environment with minimal hand-holding

• Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) implementation experience

• Experience with platforms such as Onit, TeamConnect, Mitratech, Passport, or similar legal operations tools

• Experience integrating ELM systems with CLM, DMS, ERP, CRM, or other enterprise platforms

• PMP, Six Sigma, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications

• Data migration experience

• Digital transformation experience Experience in consulting, professional services, pharmaceutical, energy, financial services, or manufacturing industries
