SAP Business Analyst

Description

We are looking for a SeniorSAP Business Analyst to support warehouse and supply chain operations for a growing team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position focuses on improving business processes across SAP warehouse management and related enterprise functions, with an emphasis on practical analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable solution design. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of manufacturing and logistics workflows and can translate operational needs into effective SAP-enabled outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze warehouse, logistics, and supply chain processes to identify business needs and recommend SAP-based improvements across operational workflows.

• Partner with stakeholders to define functional requirements for inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse activities, ensuring solutions align with business goals.

• Support configuration, testing, and optimization of SAP warehouse management capabilities, including posting changes, transfer processes, staging activities, and inventory-related transactions.

• Evaluate integration points between warehouse operations, transportation functions, and dock scheduling processes to improve end-to-end execution.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address process gaps involving production support, quality-related activities, and material movement within manufacturing environments.

• Contribute to solution design and documentation for shipment processing, shipment cost tracking, and electronic document flows such as IDoc-related activities.

• Facilitate business analysis activities including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and validation of proposed SAP enhancements.

• Participate in project delivery using structured methodologies, working closely with technical teams, business users, and testing groups to ensure successful implementa

Requirements • At least 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong hands-on involvement in SAP warehouse and enterprise process environments.

• Extensive knowledge of SAP warehouse management processes in medium to large implementations, including inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations.

• Demonstrated understanding of warehouse integration with transportation activities, dock appointment planning, and related logistics workflows.

• Experience supporting manufacturing or process manufacturing organizations with SAP-enabled warehouse and supply chain solutions.

• Familiarity with shipment processing, freight or shipment cost documentation, and IDoc management is strongly preferred.

• Solid understanding of cross-functional SAP integration points, including exposure to SAP HANA, SAP Production Planning, and broader SAP platform capabilities.

• Strong skills in business analysis, document review, gap analysis, and working within Agile Scrum delivery environments. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
