Role

As the Golf Merchandise Intern , you will partner with the Hill Country Golf Shop leadership team throughout a 10-week internship program to gain a comprehensive understanding of golf retail and merchandise operations within a luxury resort environment.

During the program, you will support a variety of operational, merchandising, and guest service initiatives while developing valuable industry knowledge and hands-on experience. Responsibilities will include assisting with administrative and organizational projects, collaborating with merchandise vendors, and representing Hyatt with professionalism in all guest and team member interactions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with office and organizational projects within the Golf Shop

• Collaborating with merchandise vendors to support inventory and retail initiatives

• Providing exceptional service by greeting and assisting guests and team members

• Organizing, replenishing, and maintaining merchandise inventory

• Creating visually appealing product displays and merchandising the sales floor

• Designing and updating promotional signage and displays

• Supporting retail operations and special projects as assigned

• Maintaining Hyatt brand standards and delivering a positive guest experience

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop retail merchandising, hospitality, inventory management, vendor relations, and customer service skills while gaining exposure to the operations of a premier golf resort.

Qualifications:

• Involvement on campus

• Valid driver's license

• Student majoring in Hospitality, Merchandising, or related major

• Candidates actively pursuing a college degree at any level

• Ability to work a flexible schedule through the week over 10 weeks
