Integrated Allocation Modeling: Own and embed complex professional services expense allocation logic directly into the automated annual budget and rolling forecast processes within Vena and across all reporting.

Strategic Plan (Strap) Modeling: Maintain and update the multi-year Strategic Plan (Strap) financial model to reflect long-term growth, utilization targets, and capital structures.

Earn-Out Tracking & Reporting: Own the standalone reporting, tracking, and metric calculation for post-acquisition earn-out structures to ensure precise calculation of performance-based payouts.

Sponsor & Lender Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages, EBITDA bridges, and covenant compliance certificates for presentation to our private equity investors and banking/debt partners.

Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in corporate FP&A, ideally within a private equity-backed portfolio company, billable professional services firm, and/or high-growth environment.

Systems & Data Expertise: Hands-on experience administering CPM systems (including building templates and data structures) paired with a proven ability to extract and synthesize data from PSA platforms and ERP systems.

AI & Technical Savvy: Practical experience utilizing AI tools/agents to accelerate data extraction, model building, and reporting.

Project Accounting Expertise: Strong foundational understanding of project-based accounting principles, including tracking revenue recognition rules (e.g., Time & Materials, Fixed Fee/Milestones), monitoring project gross margins, and managing work-in-progress (WIP).

Financial Modeling: Expert-level mastery of Excel-based modeling (Vena's core engine), three-statement financial modeling, debt/covenant tracking, and M&A integration formulas.

Business Acuity: Deep understanding of professional services operational metrics (e.g., utilization, billable rates, backlog, realization), Adjusted EBITDA definitions, and cost allocation methodologies.
