Payroll Specialist - Dayforce Exp

Description

Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support a 600+ employee SaaS healthcare company through a payroll system transition from ADP to Dayforce.

This role will work closely with the third-party implementation team and internal HR/Payroll leadership to help ensure a smooth transition. The ideal candidate has prior experience going through a payroll system conversion and can serve as a knowledgeable internal resource throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the third-party implementation team throughout the ADP-to-Dayforce transition

• Provide payroll expertise and internal business requirements to the implementation team

• Review and validate employee/payroll data during the transition

• Assist with testing, parallel payrolls, reconciliations, and identifying discrepancies

• Help document current payroll processes and ensure they are accurately reflected in the new system

• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during implementation and go-live

• Assist with ongoing payroll processing and other day-to-day payroll needs as needed

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of payroll experience

• Previous experience participating in a payroll system transition or implementation

• Experience working with third-party payroll vendors or implementation teams

• ADP experience strongly preferred

• Dayforce experience is a plus, but not required

• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

• Experience supporting payroll for 500+ employees preferred
