Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify migration. This individual will own end-to-end project delivery, serving as the primary point of coordination across IT, Site Experience, Merchandising, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong ecommerce project management experience, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to drive complex platform migrations from planning through go-live.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end project plan for the Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify migration, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource coordination. Serve as the primary liaison across IT, Site Experience, Merchandising, and business teams to ensure alignment on priorities, deliverables, and timelines. Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and executive stakeholder communications. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and blockers. Manage project scope and change requests through established governance processes. Maintain key project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, status reports, meeting notes, and leadership updates. Coordinate testing efforts, including system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and go-live readiness activities. Manage cross-functional dependencies between business and technical teams to ensure successful execution. Provide regular updates to leadership regarding timeline health, risks, progress, and overall project status. Establish repeatable project management processes, templates, and best practices to support future digital initiatives.

Rate: $45-60/hr

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Project Management experience supporting large-scale ecommerce implementations, platform migrations, or digital transformation initiatives. Experience leading cross-functional projects involving both business and technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, including Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar solutions. Experience with ecommerce platform migrations involving data migration, systems integration, testing, and quality assurance processes. Proven ability to manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and competing priorities. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills. Experience utilizing project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Prior experience leading Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify migrations. Experience working within enterprise digital commerce environments. Familiarity with omnichannel retail or consumer-facing ecommerce programs.
