Material Planning Co-op - Summer 2027

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and updating and monitoring daily/weekly production schedules.

  • Help identify shortages or overages of materials and recommend actions.

  • Collect and analyze production data.

  • Prepare reports and dashboards for planning and performance tracking.

  • Enter and maintain data in ERP systems.

  • Support data accuracy for materials, BOMs, and routing.

  • Work with production, kanban technician, procurement, and logistics teams to align plans.

  • Participate in daily production meetings and planning reviews.

  • Identify inefficiencies in planning or scheduling processes.

  • Support lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.

  • Help document standard operating procedures related to planning.

  • Maintain planning-related documentation and training materials.

  • Attend training sessions on planning tools, systems, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts)

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
