Full job description

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected school in Palmer, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Paraprofessional to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

Position: Paraprofessional

Description: The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

Location: Palmer, MA

Facility Type: High School

Start: 9/7/2026

Pay: $25/hr

Duration: 39 weeks

Hours: 35

Shifts:

Mon-Fri 7:15am-2:15pm

Requirements:

2+ years experience in school setting

Experience in Aba classroom setting

Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with special needs preferred

Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a school-based team
