Job Description:

Ohio University Regional Campuses are seeking a part-time instructor to teach in person or online Teacher Education courses at the undergraduate level.

Ohio University’s Regional Campuses are located in the following cities in the State of Ohio: Chillicothe, Eastern (St. Clairsville, OH), Lancaster, Southern (Ironton, OH), and Zanesville.

The exact number of Instructors needed is undetermined at this time as it is primarily dependent upon enrollments and overall student demand. When a need arises, the department will select qualified candidates from this pool.

Position will include teaching from 3 credit hours to up to 11 credit hours per term.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in the field of education (for undergraduate-level courses). Experience teaching students. Experience using technology for teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current or prior teaching license in area. Relevant and recent Pre K-12 classroom-based experience. Demonstrated knowledge of theory and research-supported best practices for teaching and learning.
