  • Perform advanced electrical work including cable fabrication, terminations, connectorization, power distribution, bonding/grounding, and continuity/insulation resistance testing.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate tools, test equipment, and diagnostic procedures; recommend corrective actions and implement repairs.

Software & Configuration

  • Support software uploads, upgrades, and configuration changes for RWS and associated control systems in accordance with approved procedures.

  • Perform pre and post load verification, basic functional checks, and documentation of software baselines and changes.

  • Work with systems engineers and software engineers to identify software related issues discovered during installation, integration, or shipboard testing.

Test, Checkout & Verification

  • Assist in system bring up, alignment, operational verification, and acceptance testing of RWS and supporting subsystems.

  • Execute test procedures, record test data, and support troubleshooting of deficiencies identified during Harbor Acceptance Tests (HAT), Shipboard Qualification Trials (SQT), or similar events.

  • Provide input to test reports, discrepancy reports, and recommended corrective actions.

Technical Documentation & Coordination

  • Provide feedback on technical manuals, installation procedures, and engineering documentation to improve clarity, safety, and efficiency.

  • Prepare and maintain detailed technical records, logbooks, discrepancy reports, and configuration control documentation.

  • Coordinate daily activities with SAIC leadership, government PMs, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with schedule, scope, and technical requirements.

Field Support & Training

  • Provide onboard technical assistance to ship's force and government representatives during installation, testing, and post installation support periods.

  • Support informal hands-on familiarization/training for fleet personnel on system operation, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, as requested.

Qualifications
