Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated Resource Special Education Teacher for a school-based opportunity in Hazel Crest, IL beginning August 31, 2026 .

Position Highlights

Location: Hazel Crest, IL

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Pay: $50/hour

Assignment Details

This is an in-person Resource Special Education Teacher position serving Pre-K through 3rd grade students . The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting diverse learners, developing individualized education plans, and collaborating with school staff to help students achieve academic and developmental success.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in a resource classroom setting
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
Complete required documentation and progress reporting
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports student growth

What You'll Need to Apply

Updated Resume
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Endorsement or appropriate Special Education certification
Previous school-based experience preferred
