This role works closely with Account Managers, Solution Engineers, Product Management, Professional Services, and users to demonstrate business value, provide technical guidance, support evaluations, and help organizations modernize the planning, design, construction, and operation of critical energy infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with Solution Engineers and Account Managers on strategic opportunities.

  • Deliver compelling presentations to technical and executive audiences.

  • Assist with proposal responses, technical evaluations, and competitive positioning.

  • Develop and maintain expertise across Bentley’s energy and utility portfolio, including electrical network analysis, substation and transmission design, renewable energy, utility digital delivery, and infrastructure engineering solutions.

  • Advise users, project teams, and technical stakeholders throughout evaluation and adoption activities.

  • Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity, project delivery performance, and asset outcomes.

  • Connect customer business goals with appropriate technical solutions and share industry best practices.

  • Capture market, industry, and user feedback and communicate enhancement opportunities and product requirements to Product Management.

  • Participate in beta, early access, and innovation programs.

  • Build and maintain demonstration materials, industry-specific workflows, use cases, and reusable technical content.

  • Support field enablement through training and technical coaching.

  • Partner with Solution Engineering, Account Management, Product Management, Product Development, Professional Services, User Success, and Industry Marketing.

  • Assist with sales-to-services handoff activities and contribute to strategic account planning.

  • Support major customer engagements, executive briefings, and industry events.

  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Systems, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, or relevant training and/or experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in electric utilities, power generation, renewable energy, transmission and distribution, substation engineering, industrial power systems, engineering consulting, or a related field.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

  • Experience working directly with users, engineering teams, or customers.
