Full job description
Job Title: Rework Associate
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
Shift: 2:30pm-10:30pm , 2:45pm-10:45pm , 3:00pm-11:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
-
Transport sterilized bags using a powered industrial truck (PIT) from the cooling area to the packing line
-
Maintain and inspect PIT batteries as required
-
Keep truck unloader supplied with trucks to be unloaded
-
Operate and maintain automated packaging equipment, including carton erector
-
Visually inspect each bag for defects and categorize/log identified defects
-
Manually unload and package bags as needed
-
Unpackage and reinspect products, assist with line clearance
-
Maintain a clean and safe workspace following 6S principles
-
Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards (SOPs, cGMP)
Work Environment:
-
Class IV Controlled Environment (PPE: safety glasses, shoes, gloves, ear plugs)
-
Exposure to constant/intermittent noise, vibration, and moving machinery
Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
-
At least 18 years of age
-
Basic English written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to follow verbal/written safety instructions and read work instructions
-
Basic math skills required
-
Ability to obtain PIT Operator and Inspector Certification
Preferred:
-
One (1) year of manufacturing experience
-
CRC Career Readiness Certification (Silver Level)
Physical Requirements:
-
Frequent grasping, pushing/pulling, reaching
-
Lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
-
Normal visual acuity and color distinction
-
Ability to squat, climb, kneel, twist, and bend
