Building Engineer Night Shift

About the Role:

CBRE is seeking a skilled Building Engineer to support aleading banking and financial services client in Richardson, TX. In this role,you will help maintain and support building operations across a campusconsisting of two buildings totaling approximately 90,000 square feet, ensuringa safe, reliable, and efficient environment for occupants.

This position operates on a 12-hour rotating night shiftschedule and is ideal for candidates with strong building maintenanceexperience across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems. Avalid driver's license is required to operate a company vehicle and travelbetween buildings on campus. What You'll Do:

• Perform maintenance and repairs tothe mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and controlsystems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards asassigned.

• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and companydirectives related to building operations and work safety.

• Maintain an energy management program. Ensure all systems operate in the mostefficient manner.

• Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensurethat building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Performemergency repairs as needed.

• Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal ofhazardous materials. Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

• Perform routine site rounds and facility tours to inspect mechanical,electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, identifying potential points of failurebefore they impact operations.

• Review, update, and execute Methodof Procedure (MOP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and Emergency StandardOperating Procedure (ESOP) documents during routine and emergency operations.

• Utilize your knowledge of power infrastructure, includingUPS systems, generators, switchgear, and mechanical cooling systems such aschillers and Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAHs), to drive operationalexcellence and reliability.

What You'll Need:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years ofexperience in critical environment operations, specifically within tiered datacenters, critical hospitals, or high-reliability industrial plants.

• Universal CFC or EPA certificationis preferred, licensed electrician, HVAC credentials.

• Strong proficiency in operatingand managing Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power MonitoringSystems (EPMS).

• Ability to work flexibleschedules, including nights, shift coverage, to support a 24/7/365 operationalmodel.
