Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 1101 Sw 1St Ave City: Ocala State: Florida Postal Code: 34471 Job Description:

  • Gives seminars under the direction of the Scientific Director or Senior Director.
  • Participates in research grant application preparation.
  • Occasionally travels for participant enrollment activities.
  • Digitizes and catalogues imaging as defined per study protocols.
  • Attends and actively participates in research meetings.
  • Utilizes clinical knowledge and skills to develop clinical research studies.
  • Designs, constructs, and implements research proposals, protocols, and procedures.
  • Leads analysis of research data in collaboration with biostatisticians and other research team members.
  • Prepares abstracts, scholarly manuscripts, presentations, and final study reports to communicate research results.
  • Supervises data collection by research core staff, including clinical operations and oncology.
  • Obtains, reviews, and extracts pertinent data elements for clinical studies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the development and operation of clinical and basic science research protocols [Required]

  • Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office [Required]

  • Must be detail oriented [Required]

  • Must have the ability to multi-task [Required]

  • Must be able to think critically [Required]

  • Must have excellent deductive reasoning skills [Required]

  • Must have excellent decision making and communication skills [Required]

  • Knowledge or experience in investigator-initiated research in a clinical - research setting [Preferred]

Education:

  • Doctorate [Required]

Field of Study:

  • Graduate of accredited Medical School [Required]

Work Experience:

  • Established competency in research as evidenced by published (peer reviewed) research and/or prior work experience [Required]

Additional Information:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) [Required] OR Doctor of Osteopathic [Required] OR equivalent international medical degree such as Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Pay Range:

$49,795.20 - $92,622.40 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
