Job Description

This role involves assisting in the assembly of metal stoves in a fast-paced production environment. You will work on an assembly line with other team members, follow blueprints to build various types of stoves, and contribute to efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of metal stoves on a production line.

• Read and interpret blueprints to correctly assemble various types of stoves.

• Work collaboratively with co-workers on the line and maintain clear, respectful communication.

• Follow established production and manufacturing processes to meet quality and efficiency standards.

• Operate basic assembly tools and equipment safely and accurately.

• Use required personal protective equipment, including steel toe boots and protective eyewear.

• Adapt to varying workloads, including the possibility of working extended hours when production demands increase.

• Participate in training and apply new skills and procedures as directed.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints for assembly work.

• Strong communication skills for working effectively on a production line with co-workers.

• Experience with assembly work in a manufacturing or production setting.

• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures consistently.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Basic mechanical aptitude for assembling metal components.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Halifax, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
