What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Report to Enterprise Director, FP&A with high visibility and engagement with the CFO, Finance VPs, and Investor Relations.

  • Work very closely with Enterprise, segment and corporate FP&A leaders, Treasury, Tax, Corporate Development, and Legal.

  • Facilitate the annual budgeting and strategic financial planning (3-year) process including, but not limited to, the consolidation of enterprise financials, trend analyses, financial schedules/graphs, and key planning processes.

  • Create materials for the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors, including providing financial analysis and commentary.

  • Apply a continuous-improvement mindset to increase efficiency across all work areas.

  • Serve as an objective financial steward with an enterprise perspective, safeguarding our company's assets. Ensures strong controls are in place and the company's intellectual property is protected.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, HFM, and SAP, preferred

Anticipated salary range: $82,100 - $117,200
