We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to work in the Maintenance Department. In this role, the Maintenance Technician will assist in the day to day maintenance of community property and village residents. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance.
Schedule: Full Time position | Weekdays
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.
-
Perform basic functions that are mechanical inclined with hand tools and operate power tools.
-
Change light bulbs, A/C filters, filters, and ceiling tiles.
-
Hook-up sinks and toilets/urinals.
-
Take temperature readings and boiler room readings. Test generator and other equipment & pumps.
-
Repair minor leaks less than 1” in diameter.
-
Assist as required Maintenance Mechanic/Engineer with major projects.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
-
and 1-3 years related experience and/or
-
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in carpentry.
Requires Skills:
-
Ability to read, write and speak the English language and understand and follow written and oral directions.
-
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
