We are looking for a Director of OperationalTransformation & Chief of Staff to the VP of Operations, Electrification& Automation North America.
This position will be based at a Siemens U.S. location,Wendell NC is preferred.
The Chief of Staff to the Vice President of Operations serves as a strategic partner and force multiplier, helping drive execution across a complex and rapidly expanding manufacturing organization. This role connects strategy, governance, and execution across manufacturing plants, contract manufacturing operations, business integrations, expansion projects, and operational excellence functions. You will translate organizational priorities into measurable outcomes while enabling senior operations leadership to focus on strategic growth, stakeholder engagement, and business performance.
You’ll make a difference by:

Serving as a strategic and operational advisor to theVP of Operations, driving the Operations roadmap, annual objectives,executive reviews, business reviews, and cross-functionaldecision-making.

Providing governance across a multi-sitemanufacturing network by aligning priorities across factories, supportfunctions, project teams, and leadership stakeholders.
-
Driving transparency, accountability, and executiondiscipline through management operating systems, dashboards, KPIs,escalation processes, and measurable outcomes.

Overseeing manufacturing expansion, capitalinvestment, product industrialization, workforce ramp-up, infrastructurereadiness, and the consolidated Operations project portfolio.

Supporting contract manufacturing strategy byaligning internal operations with external manufacturing partners acrossonboarding, operational readiness, quality systems, risk management, andcapacity planning.

Leading Lean Office, continuous improvement,manufacturing systems, productivity, waste elimination, business impacttracking, and operational excellence initiatives across plants.

Accelerating operational transformation by partneringwith automation, digitalization, engineering, finance, procurement, supplychain, and commercial teams on MES, analytics, connected factorysolutions, AI-enabled processes, demand planning, and growthreadiness.
You’ll win us over by having the followingqualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business,Operations Management, or related field.
-
10+ years of experience with the following:
o Manufacturing operations, operational excellence, engineering, supply chain, project management, consulting, or business leadership in an industrial environment.
o Leading complex cross-functional initiatives across manufacturing plants, functions, project teams, and senior leadership stakeholders.
o Establishing management operating systems, dashboards, KPIs, governance processes, executive reviews, and measurable performance outcomes.
o Designing systems for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and measuring data to support decision-making and business impact.
o People leadership, full performance management, executive communication, presentation development, organizational planning, and managing multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on acontinual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
MBA, master’s degree, or advanced education inEngineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience supporting senior executives or operatingin a Chief of Staff, operational transformation, strategy execution, orbusiness management capacity.
-
Experience with manufacturing expansions, greenfieldprojects, large capital investments, project portfolio management, or PMOleadership.
-
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalentexperience leading continuous improvement, Lean Office, productivity, andoperational excellence programs.

Knowledge of Industry 4.0, automation, digitalmanufacturing, MES, analytics, connected factory solutions, and AI-enabledoperations.
