Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support accurate and timely payroll processing. This role is responsible for maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, resolving payroll discrepancies, and partnering with HR and accounting teams to support employee pay administration.
Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll accurately and on schedule for employees in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

Review, audit, and maintain payroll records, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and timekeeping data.

Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and issues related to pay, benefits, and withholdings.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Prepare payroll-related reports and support internal audits and reconciliations.

Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on onboarding, terminations, compensation changes, and benefits deductions.

Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and related reporting.

Support payroll management and maintain strong accounting controls.
Requirements
-
2+ years of payroll processing or payroll administration experience.

Knowledge of payroll systems and timekeeping platforms

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency with payroll and business software such as Workday, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, QuickBooks, PowerBI, or SQL.

CPP certification is a plus.
