Job Title: Transfer Portal Coordinator Department: Human Resources Country: United States of America State/Province: Arkansas City: Lowell Full/Part Time: Full time Job Summary: Under general supervision, this positions is responsible for sourcing, soliciting, and screening current drivers for all divisions to ensure account needs are met and promote driver retention. The incumbent will utilize the Transfer Portal System to connect drivers seeking new positions. The Transfer Portal Coordinator will monitor opportunities and coordinate internal stakeholders to provide a smooth transition. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain relationships with J.B. Hunt drivers who are seeking new opportunities • Review driver portal submissions to evaluate eligibility for open positions; provide recommendations to J.B. Hunt drivers on open positions that will be the best fit • Coordinate independent contractor transfers with internal teams, such as Operations, to ensure all applicable processes are completed efficiently • Facilitate the relocation process for drivers to ensure smooth transfer by serving as the liaison between the driver and internal contacts, as well as administering documentation as needed • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure driver needs are being filled in a timely manner • Promote the benefits and job positions available at J.B. Hunt to increase driver retention • Manage outbound and inbound phone calls to resolve driver inquiries efficiently • Facilitate transfer options for displaced drivers promptly • Support the driver onboarding team in processing DOT applications during peak times • Review and maintain the driver documentation database for accuracy Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of Driver Personnel experience and/or military equivalent AND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums Ability to adapt to changing work priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Knowledge of processes, tools and services for managing data entry and reporting results Ability to maintain professionalism during difficult conversations Knowledge of J.B. Hunt Ability to meet or exceed needs and expectations to provide excellent service
This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship. Compensation: Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
Benefits: The Company offers the following benefits for full-time positions, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, as may be in effect from time to time: medical benefit, dental benefit, vision benefit, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, paid time off commensurate with tenure (includes vacation and sick time), six weeks of paid maternity leave along with two weeks of paid parental leave, and six paid holidays annually.
