Job Description
-
Data Analysis between data sets to recognize differences and validation.
-
Support for Power BI Models to enable KPI tracking.
-
Work closely with various cross functional partners to facilitate the issuance of Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Changes.
-
Liaison between Senior Cost Managers and Finance to report accruals and prepaid invoices.
-
Create and maintain cash flow dashboards.
-
Compile and maintain data for project buyout analytics.
-
Maintain weekly updates for minor project budgets.
-
Compile and maintain market data on construction material costs for use in buyout evaluations.
Key Attributes
-
Strong and proven capability using excel to analyze large data sets.
-
Experience with Power BI and other modeling software platforms.
-
Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent analytical, creative thinking, written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficient with computers including the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Power BI.
-
Works well in a team environment and independently, gives and receives clear expectations.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
-
Proven work experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
-
Expertise in using professional data analysis and visualization tools, along with proficiency in programming languages.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
-
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
-
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
-
Experience with construction management software and systems.
-
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
-
Certification in data analysis or related fields.
