Full job description

Description About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword — it's a way of life. Agentforce is the future of AI — and the strategic technology partnerships that power it are the future of Salesforce.

We're looking for a Senior Lead, Partner Solutions Engineering to drive the technology strategy for our most strategic partnerships, including hyperscalers, AI labs, and beyond. This is a highly strategic builder role at the frontier of AI and platform partnerships, responsible for turning our most important alliances into differentiated product experiences, scalable integrations, and material business impact. You will define integration strategy, shape joint technical roadmaps, architect co-innovation initiatives, and serve as the technical lead across a portfolio of strategic partnerships. Working closely with Business Development, Product, Engineering, and Partner Management, you'll help transform partnership strategy into customer value. As the technical pillar of our strategic technology partnerships team, you'll serve as the trusted technical advisor to internal executives and external partners, driving alignment across engineering organizations and influencing product direction without direct authority.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the technical strategy for a portfolio of Salesforce's most strategic technology partnerships.

  • Define joint technical vision, integration architecture, and multi-year co-innovation roadmaps with strategic partners.

  • Translate partnership strategy into technical execution by partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to deliver differentiated integrations and customer experiences.

  • Drive architecture for AI, data, and cloud integrations spanning Agentforce, Data Cloud, Salesforce Platform, partner APIs, models, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Identify emerging technical opportunities, capability gaps, and ecosystem trends to influence partnership strategy and product investments.

  • Serve as Salesforce's technical representative in executive partner engagements, joint engineering sessions, and technical design reviews.

  • Develop repeatable technical frameworks, reference architectures, and best practices that accelerate strategic partnerships across the organization.

  • Influence senior technical and product leaders internally and externally to align roadmaps and unblock complex cross-company initiatives.

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to Business Development and Partner Management, helping shape partnership strategy through technical expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years in solutions engineering, enterprise architecture, technical partnerships, or a closely related technical discipline

  • Demonstrated track record of building and scaling technical solutions in enterprise software, cloud, or AI

  • Deep understanding of the AI and cloud ecosystem, including major hyperscalers, AI platforms, enterprise integration patterns, and evolving market dynamics.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), APIs, MCP and agent interoperability, event-driven architectures, and enterprise data platforms.

  • Strong architectural thinking with the ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and long-term platform strategy.

  • Executive presence and exceptional communication skills with experience engaging senior technical and business stakeholders.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity, independently drive initiatives, and create structure where none exists.

  • Passion for emerging AI technologies with a demonstrated curiosity for new models, protocols, and developer ecosystems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with or alongside hyperscalers, AI model providers, or leading enterprise software platforms.

  • Background in partner engineering, solutions architecture, technical product management, or technical pre-sales.

  • Experience designing AI platform integrations or driving adoption of cloud and AI services through technical partnerships.

  • Familiarity with agent ecosystems, interoperability standards (such as MCP), enterprise data governance, and modern AI application architectures.
