Full job description

Our client, a leading food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sanitation Worker to join their team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will be part of the Sanitation Department supporting the production and cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Location: Newberry, SC

Pay Range:

Shift: Evening Shift (18:30-03:00 / 21:00-05:30), Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs to support sanitation operations

  • Quickly learn and execute sanitation procedures using various chemicals and equipment

  • Work efficiently and safely in wet conditions, maintaining high standards of cleanliness

  • Participate in Floor Drain Cleaning Program and follow safety precautions

  • Assist with pre-sanitation, drain back-up procedures, and documentation of sanitation activities

What's Needed?

  • 1-3 years of experience in maintaining cleanliness in a production environment

  • Ability to work in wet conditions and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety practices

  • Willingness to work 6 to 7 days a week, including some weekends
