Workday Security Administrator

Job Description

One of Insight Global's healthcare clients at Rush University Medical Center is seeking a Workday Security Administrator to support a large-scale Workday implementation scheduled to go live on January 1, 2027. This individual will work directly with Emily Magill and the security team, supporting the organization through implementation, testing, go-live, and eventual production support. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a strong Workday Security Administrator with implementation experience who can operate independently, communicate effectively with business stakeholders, and help drive security workstreams through a critical Workday go-live. Candidates coming from healthcare environments or who have previously supported Workday implementations at hospitals will stand out significantly.

Skills and Requirements

3-4+ years of Workday Security Administration experience Experience configuring and maintaining: Security Groups Domain Security Policies Business Process Security Role-Based Access Controls Experience supporting Workday implementations and go-live activities Ability to troubleshoot security defects, access issues, and provisioning challenges Experience supporting ISUs (Integration System Users), APIs, and integration security Experience creating and maintaining Workday reports and security-related reporting Familiarity with Jira for ticket management and defect tracking Familiarity with ServiceNow for post-production support Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders Ability to independently prioritize workload and manage multiple security tickets simultaneously Experience documenting security processes, controls, and governance procedures Healthcare or hospital system experience Workday implementation experience from beginning through go-live Experience supporting Workday Student Experience supporting Workday Adaptive Planning Exposure to cybersecurity, IAM, audit, compliance, or governance initiatives Experience participating in change management and migration processes Previous experience serving as a lead resource or security SME during implementation
