Full job description

Job Title: Inventory Cycle Counter Job Description

Perform cycle counting activities within the warehouse involving the physical counting of material, recording actual count results, and communicating actual results to the appropriate person. May also cycle count other areas within the operation, aid in root cause analysis, and suggest process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle count duties and record actual results within assigned area(s).

  • Physically cycle count material and record actual count results without manipulation.

  • Communicate count results to necessary personnel.

  • Utilize scanners when appropriate for performing ERP transactions.

  • Aid in root cause analysis and suggest process improvements.

  • Cycle count various areas throughout the operation.

  • Coordinate activities with the Warehouse Supervisor and other functional areas of Inventory Control.

  • Involved in the coordination and/or execution of a physical inventory.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows-based operating system and related software.

  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of specific software packages.

  • Ability to write simple correspondence and read and understand visual aids.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.

  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Good materials and manufacturing process knowledge.

  • Be computer literate with good knowledge of SAP.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

  • Skills in electrical, mechanical troubleshooting, schematic, electrical wiring, electrical schematic, electrical troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, high voltage electrical, and electrical diagnostics.

  • Experience with hand tools, repair, assembly, blueprints, and pneumatics.

The site is a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. The company provides OSHA-compliant training, PPE, and site-specific safety orientation. This is a fully on-site position with strict attendance and timekeeping protocols. Employees must wear composite-toed shoes to start work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Grantsville, UT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
