Job Description
Insight Global seeking a highly skilled Compression/Equipment Technician to support natural gas compression equipment. This position needs someone who can keep their compression assets online. Every hour a compressor is down can impact production, so they're looking for a technician who can diagnose issues quickly, perform repairs, stay ahead of preventative maintenance, and improve overall equipment reliability. The primary responsibility will be keeping compressors, engines, pumps, and other rotating equipment running safely and reliably so production isn't interrupted. On a day-to-day basis, this will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical failures, make repairs, and help identify ways to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. You'll also work closely with operations and engineering teams to monitor compressor performance and maximize production uptime. They're looking for someone who has experience maintaining industrial rotating equipment, ideally high-speed gas compressors in an oil & gas environment. If you've worked on compressors, engines, pumps, or similar equipment and enjoy hands-on troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
This pays between $40-$50/hr.
Skills and Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed gas compressors
Minimum of 1-3 years industrial maintenance experience in maintaining and repairing rotating equipment (i.e. Pumps, Compressors)

Familiar with compliance to Policy and Procedure expectations/standards (MOC’s, PSSR’s, Procedures, Audits, etc.) SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) experience
Experience managing maintenance work orders or equipment backlog
