HR Generalist

Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations. This role serves as the primary onsite HR contact while contributing to broader HR programs across the organization. The position is ideal for someone who can balance payroll, benefits, employee support, and compliance responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee biweekly payroll activities, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on schedule

• Review and calculate work hours across multiple timekeeping arrangements to maintain precise payroll records

• Coordinate employee benefits administration, including enrollments, updates, and general program support

• Manage retirement plan contributions and complete regular 401(k) funding activities

• Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies with accuracy and timeliness

• Handle workers’ compensation cases and assist employees and managers through the claim process

• Lead key HR cycles such as open enrollment, performance review administration, and new employee onboarding

• Provide day-to-day guidance on HR policies, employee relations matters, recruitment support, and employment law compliance

• Contribute to special initiatives such as budgeting, reporting, and other HR-related projects as needed Requirements • 3+ years of human resources experience, including payroll and benefits administration

• Demonstrated knowledge of benefit programs, compensation practices, and leave of absence processes

• Experience processing multi-state payroll with strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Familiarity with HR compliance requirements and employment regulations

• Ability to support employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgment

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple priorities

• Effective communication skills for working with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams
