Registered Nurse (RN)– Los Angeles,CA

Local Pay: $62.00/hour - (W2)

Shift Details:

  • 12-Hours Shift

  • Days, Nights, Weekends and Holidays

  • 36 hours work week

Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Step-Down Unit (SDU) RN

RN Duties & Responsibilities:

  • RNs will provide an intermediate level of care for patients who are not stable enough for a general medical-surgical floor but do not require the full intensity of an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

  • Patients commonly include those recovering from major surgeries, serious medical conditions such as heart failure, respiratory issues, or infections, or those transitioning out of the ICU after stabilization.

  • The PCU is equipped for close monitoring, often including telemetry for cardiac observation, frequent vital sign checks, and rapid response to changes in condition.

  • RNs will provide continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring, frequent assessment of patient status, administration of medications and IV therapies, wound care, and pain management **. **

**Minimum Qualifications **

  • Current, valid, and unrestrictedCA RN license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of one (1) year recent Progressive Care nursing experience in a community-based acute care hospital.

  • AHA BLS Certification

  • MAB or CPI

  • LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)

  • Must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date

  • Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
