Description:
Key responsibilities for this engagement include:
-
Provide expert-level troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of Salesforce platform issues across core, Experience Cloud, integrations, and custom components.

Architect, design, and implement new features using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, permission models, and data structures; lead code reviews and enforce secure coding standards.

Own and manage multi-environment release cycles (Dev, QA, UAT, Staging, Prod) using CI/CD pipelines and version control.
-
Design, support, and optimize API-based integrations including MuleSoft or similar middleware; ensure reliable and secure data exchange between Salesforce and external systems.

Implement and maintain platform-level security controls: Field Audit Trail, Event Monitoring, Platform Encryption, MFA, least-privilege access, and audits.

Manage sandbox strategy, refresh cadence, environment alignment, and advanced monitoring/observability dashboards across the development lifecycle.

Develop structured training programs, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and technical documentation; mentor internal staff for long-term organizational Salesforce capability.

Maintain expert-level understanding of Salesforce license structures; map assignments to roles and forecast needs for user growth and future integrations.

- REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Skill Min. Experience Required / Preferred
Professional experience in enterprise application development 11 years Required
Dedicated Salesforce experience 7 years Required
Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and advanced configuration 5 years Required
Senior-level experience supporting large, complex Salesforce environments
with strict SLAs and high security requirements 5 years Required
Strong technical background in API design, integration patterns, middleware, and enterprise data exchange 5 years Required
Knowledge of security hardening, identity governance, encryption strategies, and auditability in compliance-driven environments 3 years Required
Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, environment promotion, and DevOps practices 3 years Required
Ability to create architecture diagrams, technical design docs, process flows, and structured operational documentation 3 years Required
Strong proficiency with Salesforce license models and platform optimization strategies 3 years Required
Excellent communication skills; demonstrated ability to train and mentor technical staff — Required
Advanced Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer II, Experience Cloud Consultant, Integration Architect, Identity & Access Management)
Highly Desired:
Background in public-sector technology, regulated environments, or statewide system modernizations — Highly Desired
Experience with observability tools, error monitoring platforms, and secure cloud integration patterns — Highly Desired
Familiarity with SRE practices, resilience engineering, and performance benchmarking — Highly Desired
