  • Perform structural analysis and design primarily utilizing steel structures and bridge engineering principles.
  • Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and drafting teams to clarify requirements and deliver accurate, constructible solutions.
  • Evaluate site conditions, load paths, and structural demands while ensuring compliance with governing codes and standards, including AASHTO, ASCE, and AISC.
  • Support projects from concept through construction, participating in reviews, design revisions, and occasional site visits.
  • Assist with bridge design, rehabilitation, inspections, load rating evaluations, and other transportation-related structural projects as needed.

Skills and Requirements

  • 4+ years of structural engineering experience.

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license from any U.S. state.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis) or Structural Engineering.

  • Experience with structural analysis and design methodologies.

  • Knowledge of applicable engineering codes and standards, including AASHTO, ASCE, and AISC. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Desire to grow into a technical leadership or management role in the future.

  • Experience in bridge design, load rating, inspections, rehabilitation, or transportation structures. Familiarity with 3D structural analysis and finite element modeling software such as RISA, STAAD, SAP2000, Tekla Structural Designer, or similar tools.

Compensation:
