Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Motor Winders for projects located in or around Michigan City, IN . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Motor Winder looking to learn and grow in your trade alongside the best Craft Professionals in the business, this is your chance to further your career!
Job Scope:

Wind and rewind electric motors
-
Remove old windings and prepare motors for repair
-
Install coils, insulation, and related motor components
-
Assist with motor disassembly and reassembly
-
Inspect motor components for wear and damage
-
Perform detailed repair work while maintaining quality standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements:
-
Previous motor winding experience preferred
-
Candidates with 1–2 years of winding experience are encouraged to apply

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
-
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment safely
-
Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
