Job Summary

The Pricing Analyst is responsible to develop and analyze pricing models for organizational products and services to optimize profitability and market competitiveness in support of pricing strategies. This role applies pricing science, analytics, and market research to balance customer value with business objectives while supporting cross-functional commercial initiatives.

This position is hybrid two days a week out of our Mendota Heights corporate office.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and recommend pricing strategies, guardrails, and discount frameworks to achieve targeted market positions across customer segments, geographies, and product portfolios

  • Conduct market and competitive research to understand pricing trends, customer expectations, and competitive dynamics, translating insights into actionable pricing recommendations

  • Analyze cost structures, demand drivers, and margin impacts to support pricing/tariff development and ensure profitable pricing outcomes

  • Design, implement, and maintain pricing models, tools, and infrastructure, including standardized pricing guidelines and segmentation logic

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and promotions through analytical modeling and performance measurement; recommend adjustments to improve revenue, margin, or market share

  • Develop pricing scenario analyses to assess the business impact of pricing changes and support decision-making for new and existing products

  • Prepare and deliver pricing reports, documentation, and insights for internal stakeholders; serve as a point of contact for internal sales pricing inquiries

  • Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2 years of related experience in pricing, analytics, finance, or a similar commercial role

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with pricing analytics, price architecture, pricing science or revenue optimization techniques

  • Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to interpret complex data into insights

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis

  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting capabilities

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range, based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.

$60,400.00 - $78,533.33
