Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

The Patient Safety Director is responsible for directing and managing the facilities Risk Management Program, with the goal of protecting the institution from fortuitous loss. The Patient Safety Director advises and consults with Senior Leadership and the Board on potential sources of loss, develops strategies to prevent loss, and makes decisions regarding appropriate loss prevention approaches.

What qualifications you will need:

  • (RN) Registered Nurse is required

  • (CPPS) Certified Professional in Patient Safety must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

  • Bachelors Degree is required

  • 3+ years healthcare experience in patient safety, risk, and/or quality is preferred

We are the area's first Accredited Chest Pain Center and Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. Our hospital is the first in the state of Florida to have earned Atrial Fibrillation with Electrophysiology Services Accreditation. We have an Advanced Primary Stroke Center.
