As a Supervisor of Interventional Radiology, you will share leadership responsibilities for the nursing unit, including managing daily staffing plans. You will also ensure appropriate and timely use of bed placement technology (Teletracking) and adherence to care processes for bed placement/patient transfer/patient transport/room cleaning and patient discharge. Ensures the safe transition of patients thru the continuum of care to include active participation of nursing staff in planning and coordinating patient care, and direct hand-off to next appropriate level of care.With approximately 15 cases/day, this hardworking team supports each other and works toward the common goal of the best patient care possible. Once on the team, you will not want to leave.

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • Minimum two (2) years IR experience, one of which is in a leadership role
  • Current CA RN License.
  • Current BLS/ACLS.andNIH certifications required upon completion of department orientation.
  • ability to communicate effectively.

  • ability to problem solve.

  • critical thinking skills and ability to develop and implement standard work/process improvements.

Preferred:

  • 5 years IR experience
  • BSN
