Job Description
WPSD LOCAL 6 in Paducah, KY, the NBC affiliate in the 90th market, seeks an anchor for our weekend morning newscast.
You are an idea person, self-starter and ready to work in a high energy, competitive environment, producing content for multiple platforms. You’ll anchor our Saturday morning newscast and report four days each week.
You can shoot, go live, write, edit, develop sources, know social media best practices and are a team player. You are a compelling storyteller and the best writer among your peers.
We have the tools you need to be successful, including talented producers, photographers, multiple live backpacks, drones and a traditional live truck. Our journalists frequently land in much bigger markets after honing their skills with our awarding winning staff.
