Member Services Representative – Auburn, NY

Adecco is Hiring!

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Member Services Representative to join a well-established credit union in Auburn, NY . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in banking or financial services. No prior banking experience is required—we provide comprehensive training!

Pay: $17.00–$18.50/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

What You'll Do

As a Member Services Representative, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting members with a variety of financial transactions. Accuracy, professionalism, and a positive attitude are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet members in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.

  • Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other financial transactions with accuracy.

  • Maintain accurate transaction records and balance cash drawer daily.

  • Assist members with savings, checking, and other account transactions.

  • Process loan, mortgage, and home equity payments.

  • Place holds on accounts when appropriate, following company policies.

  • Educate members on available products and services, including checking accounts, loans, debit and credit cards, online banking, direct deposit, CDs, IRAs, and other financial products.

  • Maintain knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, security practices, and compliance requirements.

  • Report equipment or system issues to management.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.

  • Ability to handle cash and maintain confidentiality.

  • Previous customer service, retail, cashier, or banking experience is a plus, but not required .

Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.50 per hour
